Barn under the Willow Tree

I had driven by this old barn for years and always thought that I needed to photograph it.  It was right off of I90 east of Missoula, MT but I never had my camera with me.  On a spring day, I decided to make a trip to photograph it.  I'm glad I did.  A year after I made this image, I drove by and the barn had collapsed or was torn down.  Many of these old barns that I have photographed over the years are gone now.  Kinda makes me sad because they are so beautiful.  I like the black and white presentation for this photograph because it gives a timeless feel that works for me.
