Dreamboat
Flyfishing from a driftboat on Montana's Big Hole River. 1996. This was an image that I didn't preplan. In those days I had a band that was playing a bar in the town of Wise River, Montana. We set up to play on a Friday night in June. I told the band that I would be right back, I want to photograph last light on the river. I drove to a pullout on the state highway just as the sunbeam were shooting through the clouds. I made this vertical composition and the driftboat came around the bend. When the boat hit the bright spot on the water, I clicked away. Nikon 35mm camera. Fuji Sensia 100 film.
