Grizzly 399's Four Cubs

In the Spring of 2020, Grizzly 399, the famous 24 year old matriarch of Grand Teton National Park emerged from her den with four new cubs of the year.  This was quite a surprise given her age and the fact that having four cubs is extremely rare for a bear of any age. On this June afternoon, she brought her cubs to a gentle slope to feast on the blooming wild parsley that covered the ground.  The cubs are as cute as can be, and I was thrilled that I was able to see and photograph them.
