Moose Crossing
A cow and calf Moose cross a stream in Grand Teton National Park just after sunset. I set up to photograph at this iconic location, hoping for epic light. The sun set behind the Tetons, and golden sunrays beamed through the clouds, lighting up the sky. There was a cow and calf Moose hanging out along this stream and I noticed them coming my way. I anticipated that they might walk through the scene if I got lucky. They did. With my camera on a tripod, and a remote shutter release on my camera, I was able to back off a bit as they walked through my composition.
