Moonset

I set my alarm on this Autumn morning hoping for a dramatic sky to photograph.  I didn't realize that there was a full moon event happening.  As I stood on this county road near Ridgway, Colorado, waiting for first light to touch the sky and majestic peaks, I noticed the full moon setting above a nice bend in the road.  I composed this scene an clicked the shutter.  This turned out to be my favorite image from that trip to Southwest Colorado.  The Black and White presentation gave this image the mood that I was after.
