The Madison River
The Madison river is one of Montana's famous blue ribbon trout streams. It's sometimes called the 100 mile riffle because it is about 100 miles long and about a foot deep. Here, in this photograph, alpen glow lights up the peaks on the Madison range on and early summer evening.
